NTZDC Posts Strong Results in 2023/24 Performance Contract Evaluation

The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation (NTZDC) has successfully concluded its Performance Contract evaluation for the Financial Year 2023/2024. The evaluation was conducted by officers from the Public Service Performance Monitoring Unit (PSPMU) and took place today at the Corporation’s Boardroom.

The NTZDC team was led by the Board Chairman, Mr. Joseph Gitonga, alongside Director Andrew Karumbo and Chief Executive Officer Mr. David Chepkwony, who guided management through the comprehensive assessment process.

The evaluation focused on key performance indicators aligned with the Corporation’s strategic objectives, governance standards, service delivery targets, and overall operational efficiency. The exercise provided an opportunity to assess NTZDC’s progress, accountability, and impact during the review period.

Following the evaluation, the Board Chairman commended the management and staff for achieving a strong score, noting that the results reflect teamwork, commitment, and effective leadership across the Corporation. He further challenged the management team to build on this performance and strive for even better results by the end of the current financial year.

The NTZDC leadership reaffirmed its commitment to continuous improvement, enhanced service delivery, and alignment with government performance management frameworks. The Corporation remains focused on strengthening its operations, delivering on its mandate, and contributing meaningfully to national development goals.

NTZDC appreciates the guidance provided by the Public Service Performance Monitoring Unit and looks forward to leveraging the evaluation feedback to further improve efficiency and performance in the coming year.
